    Gonna try this guys advice, I had severe acne, well, severe to me but average to statistics on my face. Luckily is has improved sagnificantly and I have hardly any acne left on my face, but what is left just won’t die off or go away.

    I’m 18 and I just started getting acne my sophomore year up to my senior year, I can’t figure out why. I watch my diet and drink plenty of water a day, my major problem is that I only get acne on my left and right cheek I try using a cleanser every morning and night but I have not seen any progression. Is there other way of treating the acne or it just generic?
    p. s I haven’t talk to a doctor yet because it just mild acne.

    Hi I keep hearing more and more about a low glycemic diet. I tried this several months ago and didn’t really have any results. Maybe it could have been becaue I continued to have multi grain bread and healthy cereals. So you strongly feel its important to even cut out the healthy grains and cereals

    @raykob95 Yes of course, but not too much (carbohydrates) remember you have to keep things in balance, trying balancing out your meal with a portion of fruit.

    Did you not listen to him? He said carbs were the cause of acne in most cases. Every single vegan eats a lot of carbs. . . they are your main sources of nutrition because you do not eat dairy/meat.

    A bowl of cereal won’t hurt either, you just simply don’t over do it. Keep everything in balance with your diet.

    I agree, you don’t really need to go so far as to cut it ALL out of your diet. At this time I don’t recommend cutting out grains and dairy products unless you can afford to do so. Plus your only supposed to avoid those food products till the acne is under control and THEN introduce those food products back into your diet. So it’s not like it’s forever, just do it if you can not if you can’t.
